Design Process

  1. Initial Consultation

Following your call or e-mail, we’ll arrange a convenient meeting time.  We want to hear your ideas!  We’ll ask you a lot of questions and listen carefully to your answers to ensure we understand exactly what you are dreaming of for your outdoor space.

  1. Agree on Design

Depending on the size and scope of the work, we will provide price for design. Our design fees range from $600 to $5,000 and are paid upon signing of design agreement.

  1. Site Survey and Measurements

Once design agreement is signed, we take measurements, elevation shots and photos. We also note any site specific details(water issues, privacy, existing structures, etc) that may affect the outcome of the design.

  1. Design Presentation

At the design presentation you review the designand we discuss any necessary revisions. We go over materials, construction process and budget in detail. Providing you with an estimate for the work to be done.

  1. Final Plan & Quote

Final changes are presented, we’ll incorporate them into the plan and provide you with a firm quote and contract for your consideration. We’ll review both by item, answering any questions you might have. If you’re happy to move forward, we’ll ask for a deposit and move into the construction phase.
